Form for exercising your right of withdrawal from an electricity or additional service agreement

With this form, you can withdraw from your Fortum electricity agreement or additional service agreement within 14 days of entering into the agreement. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient to send your notice of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.

Terms for cancelling the purchase of electricity and additional services

To exercise your right of cancellation, you must notify Fortum Markets Oy of your decision to cancel the contract.

You have the right to cancel a new contract within 14 days of entering into the contract without giving any reason. To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient that you send your notification of exercising the right of cancellation before the cancellation period expires. To exercise the right of cancellation, please provide us with your name, address, and the phone number and email address you use. Clearly state your decision to cancel the contract in your message, for example by sending a letter by post.

You can use the electronic form above to cancel the contract, but it is not mandatory. We recommend using the electronic form to ensure your cancellation is processed as smoothly as possible.

Effects of cancellation

If you have requested that the service begins before the cancellation period ends, you must pay us reasonable compensation for the part of the service that has been delivered up to the time you notify us of your cancellation. To avoid interruption of energy supply, please remember to enter into a new contract for the site.
